Dr. Stella Eke, PhD, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Dr. Eke earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed both her Master of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees at Texas Woman’s University. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she provides comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to adults.

With over 20 years of nursing experience and more than 15 years in primary care practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Eke brings deep clinical expertise and seasoned judgment to every patient interaction. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based medicine and holistic care — addressing not only symptoms, but the full physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors that influence long-term health.

Dr. Eke is known for her thoughtful presence, attentive listening, and unwavering commitment to patient well-being. She believes that exceptional healthcare begins with trust, compassion, and a genuine partnership between provider and patient.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Eke is an accomplished educator and academic leader, having taught in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs at the university level. Her research focuses on chronic disease management and the influence of disease perception on treatment adherence, particularly among Black adults living with hypertension — work that reflects her commitment to advancing equitable, high-quality care.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes. We are currently welcoming new patients of all ages. To get started, request an appointment through our online form or call our office during business hours.

Do you offer same-day or urgent appointments?

We reserve a limited number of same-day and next-day appointments for urgent needs. Please call as early as possible, and we’ll do our best to see you quickly.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Please bring your photo ID, insurance card, a list of medications, and any recent medical records or test results that may be helpful for your provider.

How do I request prescription refills?

You can request refills through your pharmacy, our patient portal (if available), or by calling our office during regular hours. Please allow 2 business days for processing.
